Safeguarding Astronauts at the Gateway Lunar Station: Advacam’s Radiation Monitoring Instrument Passes Vibration Tests

Advacam’s radiation monitoring instrument will help to protect the astronauts at the Gateway Lunar Station! It passed the vibration tests and feels a bit shaky now.

The MPX instrument for NASA – National Aeronautics and Space Administration Gateway’s HALO module has successfully passed vibration tests at the Remred Space Technologies site in Hungary!

The MPX is equipped with our TimePIX3 chip technology. That plays a key role in precisely measuring the radiation field to ensure enhanced crew safety at the Moon orbiting base for future deep space exploration.

Thanks to all the partners within the European Space Agency – ESA’s Internal Radiation Payload (IDA)!
