ADVACAM team member and scientist Carlos Granja, together with researchers in Belgium (Belgian Nuclear Research Centre) and the cyclotron accelerator laboratories in Prague (Czech Academy of Sciences) and Krakow (Polish Academy of Sciences), published a new scientific article called “A novel method to assess the incident angle and the LET of protons using a compact single-layer Timepix detector” in the peer-reviewed journal Radiation Physics and Chemistry. The text describes their work and results regarding continuous development of improved techniques of particle tracking with the ADVACAM MiniPIX TPX radiation cameras that bring innovative applications in biomedicine in the applied field of proton radiotherapy.
