45th Anniversary of Czechoslovak Cosmonaut Vladimir Remek’s Historic Flight: Advacam Cameras Pioneering the Future of Space Exploration

What a day! Today marks the 45th anniversary of the first Czechoslovak cosmonaut Vladimir Remek’s historic flight to Earth’s orbit. As the first and only Czech person to venture into space, his achievement inspires us.

At ADVACAM Cameras we’re proud to be a part of the current space activities in the Czech Republic, with our detectors playing a crucial role in protecting the lives of today’s astronauts on the ISS and in future Artemis/Gateway missions. Our colleagues Jan Sohar, Jan Jakubek, and Carlos Granja explained the role of our unique radiation detectors in the program.

We’re thrilled that our technology was featured on CNN Prima News and Česká televize, and you can catch the story tonight on both channels. Join us as we celebrate the legacy of Vladimir Remek and the future of space exploration!
